Rosires is a Senior Scientist at the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa), in Rio de Janeiro. She trained as a Food Engineer and received her Ph.D. from the University of Reading/Institute of Food Research, UK. She has worked at Embrapa Labex Europe, based at INRA, Dijon, France. She supervises MSc and PhD students from two Universities in Rio. She has received the Scientist of Rio de Janeiro State Award and was cited among the top 2% with the greatest impact in their area of knowledge in 2019 and 2022 according to a study by Stanford University (USA).
